These days, so many online or live classes are available, and you have the chance to practice with a different teacher each day. That’s pretty amazing. Life as we know it is changing, and that is good. It teaches us to embrace resilience. To transform our habits and become better every day. To practice yoga, you don’t need any equipment. You only need the ability to show up for yourself.
But, if you’re interested to move your practice to a new level, it’s nice to have the proper tools to make your practice more comfortable. The experience gets better if you use these props in a restorative or yin yoga class.
All the recommendations I’m making here are the products I’ve been using in the last months and I guarantee the quality of everything. I even teamed up with Emilia – my business partner, to create a special offer that will help you enhance your practice. Take a look!
Manduka PROlite Yoga Mat, 400 RON
This mat is intended to be used for a lifetime and environmentally friendly. It needs a break-in period at first, but if you want to take the salt-scrub technique that Manduka recommends, the problem is solved.

Manduka High Density Foam Block, 100 RON
Now brace yourself for what I’m about to say – this block is amazing. It has the right firmness and softness at the same time. I even use it for meditation because it allows me to keep my hips higher than my knees, and like this, I can keep my spine straight for the entire length of the meditation. They do well with sweat and use. My recommendation is to have two blocks – especially for restorative and yin yoga classes.
Manduka Unfold Yoga Strap, 80 RON
A towel you have at home can make the trick, but If you’re ready to own a strap, this is the one. I honestly believe that this strap is going to last forever.
Last but not the least, you would want to have a mat cleaner. I keep things simple and I clean my mat with just water. Once in a while, I use my mat cleaner which I prepare at home.
